Logos & Merchandise

Logo Usage & Licensing

The Association has created logos for all of its clubs. These logos are consistent with the Association's own logo and are intended to promote the relationship between the Association and its clubs. Clubs are strongly discouraged from using any other logo, including any prior club logo or specialized logos.

Download Your Club Logo

To download your club's logo, visit this folder. There is a folder for each club containing (a) two versions of your club logo in the .jpeg, .pdf, .eps (Encapsulated PostScript), and .ai (Adobe Illustrator) formats, and (b) logo guidelines, including color information and an explanation of the various file types. View our Club Identity Guidelines booklet (.pdf) for more information.

The club logo should be featured on the club's website, in its listserv emails (as incorporated into the template designed by the Association), and in its social media channels. If you are having difficulty properly sizing your logos for a particular purpose, please email Dan Arment at [email protected].

Logos On Merchandise

In order for your club to utilize its own logo, the Association's logo, or any University logos or marks on any merchandise, it must receive approval from the Association and/or U-M's licensing department. To seek permission, please email your proposed design layout and a general explanation of its intended use to Dan Arment at [email protected].

If your design is approved, the merchandise will need to be produced by a University-approved vendor. Please email Dan Arment if you are having difficulty locating a suitable approved vendor for your merchandise or if you have any other questions regarding the licensing department.
