Annual Funding

The vast majority of most clubs' operating funds are provided from annual funding from the Association. A club's annual funding is generally based upon the number of paid Association members in its region (most typically a 50-mile radius around the city, county, or regional center, as the case may be) and performance, including using the AAUM provided resources.  Please contact the Association's global engagement team if you have questions regarding your club's annual funding.

Strategic Priorities Funding

In addition to their annual funding from the Association, clubs are encouraged to apply for strategic priorities funding (SPF). SPF is awarded at the Association's discretion in an effort to enhance or support local events or other activities that help accomplish key strategic goals within the Alumni Association’s mission. The maximum award for an event is $1,000.

To be considered for strategic priority funding, your application must be received by the Association at least six weeks in advance of the event. Please review our updated SPF guidelines and proposal form (.doc) for further details to determine one of your club's future events may qualify for funding.

The Regional Career Events Fund (RCEF) 

The Alumni Association Career team is accepting proposals from clubs interested in hosting professional and personal growth oriented events. The Regional Career Events Fund (RCEF) is here to help your club accomplish key alumni career programming efforts. To learn more and to get started, please review the guidelines and the step-by-step toolkit. To submit an application, please be sure to download the PDF before completing, and submit the completed application form to [email protected].  While clubs can now host in-person events, we strongly encourage clubs to consider hosting RCEF events in a virtual format as these events are relevant to all alumni.  We have witnessed alumni from across the country attend club career events when made available through the Virtual Events Catalog.
